Performance Improvement Plan.
You will be responsible for conducting a performance improvement plan. Conducting a performance improvement plan involves observing a business/organization and critically analyzing the organization in comparison to what we have discussed throughout the semester. You will then develop a performance improvement plan that discussed steps the organization can do to improve its performance or identify the steps that have allowed the organization to be successful in comparison to what we have discussed this semester. You will need to select the name and location of business you wish to conduct an audit. I will not allow the same business to be audited. So, it works on a first to sign up basis. However, this has not been an issue in the past. If you do not feel comfortable sharing the data, please let me know. You can also use an alias name to protect the identity of the organization you will be auditing. This project will serve as your final for the class. No additional test will be given.
You are to complete the audit from a management’s perspective that has already implemented an organizational continuity plan. You will observe the organization as a manager who is charge of updating the current continuity plan. You may also choose to interview managers at other organizations as well to complete the audit at a different location. If you choose to do the audit at your place of employment, I highly recommend you get written permission from the executive officer to complete the research. I do not want anyone to potentially lose their job over an assignment for a class.
