In Chapter Two of your text, you were introduced to the A-O-R model and The Spiral of Experience (pgs. 42 – 49). Review this section in your text, and using the A-O-R model, reflection on how you showed up in the virtual group discussion this week.
Meaning:
1. Action: What did you do in the discussion? Do you speak up? Did you lead? Did you go along to get along? Did any of your HEXACO personality traits kick in?
2. Observation: What happened in the discussion based on how you showed up? Did you feel heard? Did you feel silenced? How did your behavior impact the group?
3. Reflection: How do you look at your behavior in the discussion now? Do you feel like you contributed? Did you hold back? What would you do differently? How could you improve the way you show up in future discussions?
