Assignment Task
With reference to two airlines from a region outside of the North America (not the EU), conduct a fleet and route planning analysis over the next 5 years which enables greater connectivity to the North American market, which aligns to the revenue and cost structures of both the airlines and the relevant airports.
Task Guidance and marking criteria
After the launch of this assignment, you will choose a region upon which to base your analysis. This should not be the EU. You may wish to discuss the relevance of this market with the module delivery team.
The objective of the task is to use available aviation market analysis and forecasts to determine appropriate fleet and route planning considerations.
You will present your findings within a 30 minute voice recorded presentation. The fleet and route planning analysis should reflect on existing revenue and cost structures and available market forecasts. Articulation of the fleet and route plan using images and tables is important here (90%) The quality of references (data analysis, forecasts, industry reports, airline and airport reports) and the triangulation of these references is critical (10%)
