According to Malcolm Gladwell, one has to put in about 10,000 hours of practice for the brain to assimilate in order to achieve true mastery. In order to maximize your ability to achieve you have to utilize self-discipline, exercise self-control, and persevere. Duckworth (2007) demonstrated that through research that grit is not related to 10. GRIT is defined as a high level of self-discipline, high persistence, and an extraordinary passion to complete a goal. This level of exceptional achievement is very rare. Self-esteem also plays a role in accomplishment and learning the roots of your self-esteem also contribute to success and shortcomings. Bandura’s self-efficacy states that a person’s perception of perceived competence, which simplified it is your belief in your capability to produce a desired effect by your own actions.

One of the first obstacle for achievement is low motivation and managing your time and focusing on high priority tasks.
