Here are some questions that might help you to think about yourself as a reader and writer today, but also remember to make personal connections to the Craft (2005)Preview the document and Epp (2008)Preview the document readings:
How did the readings and/or discussions with your peers help you to think about writing or about nursing issues today?
Were there any reading and writing skills that you feel you’ve improved on with all of the work you’ve done this semester?
How have you progressed in your knowledge about APA and the citing of sources?
What did you learn about your chosen research topic that you worked on throughout the semester, and how do you think this knowledge will help you as a nurse, either with your education or at your place of work?
How do you feel about your ability to use technology, whether it is the Canvas system, searching databases, or any other areas you’d like to share?
These are just some questions that might help you begin your response to this assignment. You absolutely can explore other areas you wish to talk about in reflecting on your progress as a reader and writer so far within the program, but remember to tie back into the readings in clear ways. Also, remember that reflecting on information, including your own writing process, is an important part of solidifying long-term learning.
