There are various frameworks that countries used to implement their systems for a universal healthcare system; those frameworks are:
– Regulated system of health plans
– Single public plan
– Private coverage
Of course there are pros and cons to each. However, it seems that the U.S. could learn from the issues within each of these frameworks to either select one that would work best for the US or create a new one that would work utilizing the best parts of all the systems and frameworks. If you had to pick from the existing three frameworks listed above, which would you choose and why?
