Detailed history and development of Thematic Apperception Test (TAT). This is what my professor is looking for…
– Why was it developed? What was the intent behind developing it?
– Include the “psychometrics” behind its development, including the norming process— what is this process for projective measures? Distinguish between projectives and self-reports like ( MMPI-2, MCMI, etc.)
– What are the possible uses of the TAT? What is the benefit of including a projective measure like the TAT in a testing battery and not just relying on self-report measures?
