The task will be to identify both benefits and drawbacks to chosen topics and how they might affect an organization from a legal perspective. Students are not expected to be mavens of the law. The purpose of this exercise is to demonstrate an understanding of how organizations might be impacted by the legal aspects of their policies. Most organizations have a handbook with many policies to reference. If students are not employed, this information is readily accessible via the internet and other sources. This paper will be graded on quality of content, demonstrated critical/analytical thinking, and understanding of the assignment. Please remember to identify both benefits and drawbacks and support each respective position with examples.It is expected that proper grammar, spelling, and punctuation will be used. Students are required to utilize a minimum of 3 different sources to support their findings and citing will be done in the APA format.
