What would you classify the style (genre) of the song? Rock? Hip hop? R&B? Etc.
What about the sub genre? Classic rock? Trap? Trip Hop? Gospel? Etc. Be as specific as you can be.
Once you identify the genre and sub-genre, talk about what the defining characteristics of the genre/sub-genre are.
I would highly recommend a little research for this.
This should be the first paragraph of your assignment.
Your second paragraph should be how the song in question meets (or doesn’t meet) the expectations defined by the style.
This paragraph will be dependent on what you talk about in your first paragraph, so be thorough there.
The assignment should be two substantial paragraphs.
Feel free to add anything else you notice about the song that you find interesting.
