Description
For leadership teams and for the sake of communicating effectively to a diverse group of people, I think it is important to surround yourself with those who have the same values (honesty ,integrity, hard working), but I don’t think that leaders should surround themselves with like-minded people in terms of personality, strengths, skills, and mindset (DeNisi & Griffin, 2016). Instead we should have a wide and diverse set of personalities, ideas and cultural backgrounds on our teams in order to have healthy debate and communication as well as ensure that as many options as possible are explored when making decisions. Agree/disagree? Is there an example that illustrates your opinion?
