The first question is “Describe two examples in which individual differences in personality are associated
with differential life outcomes, and discuss what are the problems of trying to
disentangle measures of individual differences from other causal effects on such life
outcomes.”
The second question is “Describe the differences between specific cognitive abilities and intelligence, and how
they can be shown to be related in a statistical structure? Then discuss whether
general (g) intelligence is just an artefact (i.e., merely a statistical summary of specific
abilities, s) or whether is it something altogether more substantive?”
