Description
You are asked to analyse, evaluate and critically discuss the current fleet of Loganair
compared to two other regional airlines of a similar fleet size and route network.
Your work should cover the following areas:
The breakdown of the current fleets in terms of types, seat capacities and how they are
deployed.
The benefits and challenges of operating a mixed fleet.
Bearing in mind the age of the aircraft being flown you should propose replacement
aircraft types and give your justifications for these.
Finally you should discuss the key areas for negotiation which airlines need to consider
when placing orders for new aircraft.
You are encouraged to use graphs, tables and maps where applicable.
