You are required to produce a portfolio consisting of five different organisations which highlights their use of a particular aspect of the marketing mix. For example, your portfolio may focus on the following companies and their particular use of this element of the marketing mix.Within each marketing mix element you should;
– provide an academic definition of the mix element
– outline the various components associated with each mix element
– highlight how your chosen company has utilised this mix element to their advantage within the last few years
It is essential that you underpin your knowledge of marketing with the relevant theory.
Breakdown of Marks
Each Marketing Mix section is worth 18 marks with the following marks being allocated within each section;
– provide an academic definition of the mix element (5)
– outline the various components associated with each mix element (5)
– highlight how your chosen company has utilised this mix element to their advantage within the last few years (8)
