Do men care about preserving their age? Are phones distracting our everyday life?
How does it make you feel when someone show more attention to their phone than you? Why do we feel the need to hide certain parts of our life?
Is it ok to not share certain details of your day? Do we use scents to attract a mate?
How do associate different scents with male or females?
2. Questions related to how groups and group behavior are represented in the ad Do most women have a lost of self worth when they loose their youthfulness?
How do men feel about women when they preserve their age and not himself? Are parents worst parents than the generation before cell phones?
Do babies lack motor skills today because of parents cell phone use? Do men or women have a better sense when someone is hiding something?
Do parents know when you are not telling truth? Do men or women wear more perfume and cologne?
How do women feel with men that wear cologne?
3. Questions related to how cultures and cultural identity are represented (or not represented) in the ad Do American cultures focus more on anti-age cream over healthy eating?
Do American cultures use chemical creams over organic remedies? Do all cultures have the same level of distractions parenting?
In cultures with less technology what distractions do they face parenting? Do only westernized cultures with influenced party have more problems with hiding their background?
Do cultures with a heavy focus in religion share this problem? How do cultures that don’t use smell goods attract a person?
It would be nice to see the effects of cologne or perfumes that have a negative results.
4. How do the ads compare to each other? All the ads featuring something distractions. Two of the ads in particular, highlight distractions of scent weather that is to attract or deter. All ads cultural have similarities as in ads 3 and 4 showing that people around the world in the same age group do similar things.
5. What overall observations might a social scientist be interested in studying in relation to the themes present in these advertisements?
What larger questions about human interactions might they ask? Social scientists would likely be interested in the way people deal with how they are perceived.
Based on these observations, social scientists might asl questions such as:
How do men and women experience different age groups?
How do ads and media advertise to men and women about beauty?
How do men and women compare when meeting new people?
