A) Agency website report and field visit assignment: Identify an agency website that represents a specific agency in or near New York City that serves people with disabilities. Review information on the website and develop at least 10 questions you will ask while connecting with an agency representative.
When developing the questions put yourself in the frame of mind of a clinical rehabilitation counselor who is considering referring a client for services. Finally, write a report on your experience. Be sure to include the information obtained from the website, your 10 questions including the answers to those questions and your personal reaction to the agency. When the assignment is complete, post the report on Blackboard for your classmates’ access. As every student has continued access to Blackboard after the class is over, you will have a collection of agency website and field visit reports to refer to during your practicum and internship experiences.
