Judgment Errors
Imagine a situation in which you want to persuade a person or several people to take action along the lines of your belief. They believe otherwise. Now consider judgment errors introduced this week: Bias blind spot; better-than-average effect, belief perseverance, fundamental attribution error, self -serving bias, and confirmation bias. How can one of these explain why you are having trouble persuading them? How can you try to fix that or counter it, based on what you know from your readings?
