Muslim Americans
• Research the history of the group, historical documents, videos, pictures, literature.
• Incorporate principles of social determinants of health, community health promotion to express what you have learned. Include history, health beliefs, health risk factors, family traditions, religious beliefs of the cultural group.
• Include information/recommendations for healthcare providers caring for members of the group you researched.
• At least 10 scholarly references (at least 4 from nursing journals. You may use websites that are .gov or .edu) related to your project should be documented in an annotated bibliography (may have additional web-based references).
