You are given the data about the Miami hotel market, which are real data provided by STR
(Smith Travel Research). You need to cleanse and transform the datasets so they include
monthly hotel performance data by class, size, submarket and location between 2000-2021,
daily performance data by class between 2010-2021, and the pipeline data.
The STR datasets for you to work on will be released in week 6. You also need to search for
qualitative data or any other information you think is appropriate for the purpose of the analysis
to prepare for the portfolio. You are required to prepare a portfolio to demonstrate how you go
through the full data analytics process with the STR datasets and your choice of other data
sources.
