Relations between degree of learning and forgetting
This paper is a replication of experiment3 of Slamecka & McElree (1983)(Normal_forgetting_of_verbal_lists_as_a_function_of_their_degree_of_learning.pdf).
There are several points need to include in this paragraph:
1.theories of forgetting: decay theory and interference theory.(And how it related to the topic)
2.debate between Slamecka & McElree (1983) and Loftus(1985)
3. replication of old studies provide support for ‘replication crisis’
4.end with ‘the present study’ section which spells out what you intend to do in your study and why. This section should make clear to the reader the point of your piece of work, and the logic behind the design of your study, and springboard them into the Methods.(take example by Rivera-Lares 2022, and design and material )
