1-12 (our readings so far).

1. Describe the primary finding(s) of the study described in the article and how it most relates
to the textbook materials. (2-3 paragraphs)
2.a. Briefly describe the methods used and explain an alternative way the variables could have
been measured.
2.b. Explain some of the limitations of the methods that were actually used.
(2-3 paragraphs total for 2.a. and 2.b.)
3. Describe some of the potential ethical and legal implications related to the study addressed
in the article. (2-3 paragraphs)
4. Identify a professional (e.g., nurses, teachers) who would benefit from knowing about the
study’s results. Imagine that you must write a brief memo explaining the results to a group of
these professionals as part of a consulting gig you’ve taken on to build your resume. Be sure to
explain the results in plain language (i.e., layperson’s terms) and in ways to which the target
audience can relate. (2-3 paragraphs)
