Personal Leadership Motto/Mission Statement
Your personal leadership motto/mission statement and a brief paragraph explaining why you chose it.
You may develop your own statement or use a quote or mission statement from a well-known leader. Example of a leadership motto: “Leadership: the art of getting someone else to do something you want done because he wants to do it” Dwight D. Eisenhower.
Admirable Leaders
Describe three professional leaders that you admire.
Look for people who demonstrate the type of leader that you want to become. If you are planning to go into HR, choose HR leaders. Identify the primary leadership style that each of them demonstrate with examples. Explain what you hope to emulate or learn from that leader (i.e. why you chose them).
Provide at least one paragraph for each leader.
Discuss your personality, career goals, and the leadership style that makes sense for you.
Include a summary of your personality test results and what those results said about the type of leadership that would make sense for you.
Explain why that style makes sense based on your personality, career goals, and current skills.
