Part 1-Respond to the following prompt: There are four principle types of volcanoes discussed in your textbook. Choose one type and discuss its characteristics such as eruption style, magma composition and topography. Provide a historic eruption example for your volcano type and images to support your post.
Be sure to provide citations to your sources as you use research to support your own opinion.
Part 2-Respond to a classmate: After you have posted your first researched response to the prompt above, you will be able to see classmate’s posts. Choose 1 classmate to respond to. In your response you must engage in academic conversation by providing thoughtful analysis and elaborating on your classmate’s post. You may choose to find different examples than what your classmate already posted to share with them. To earn full credit, you MUST include citations to research in your second post as well.
