We are discussing the Poetry Elements reading. the following four poems: Marlowe, “The Passionate Shepherd to His Love”; Raleigh, “The Nymph’s Reply to the Shepherd”; and Gay, “Pulled Over in Short Hills…try to write a little about each one, and ask questions about any elements that are confusing. Don’t use first or second person in your paragraph (you or I); instead use third person (he/she/they) or nouns (author, writer, or an actual name, like Brooks).
