Prepare a research paper that explains the logistics and supply chain you would recommend for the following business: “An electronic manufacturing company needs anew logistics model to be used in the manufacture of a computer that the company is planning to build in China. The metal chassis, small hardware items (fasteners, rivets, cables, labels etc.) and external plastics are locally sourced from supplies in Shenzhen, China. The power supplies are built in Haiti. The keyboards and mice are sourced in Monterrey, Mexico and the hard drives and other peripherals are made in Seoul, Korea. The printed circuit boards are built by an outsource partner in Jakarta, Indonesia. The finished product will be sold in US and western European markets.
Design the logistics and supply structure that will be used to support the entire operation.
Explain the types of transportation used to move the materials and the finished product. Be sure to consider the high rate change in high technology industries.” New products will be introduced twice per year and old products retired.
