Study Guide for ENGL 306 Final Exam
This exam will consist of two parts.
The first part will have 25 multiple choice questions in the style of our quizzes.
The second part will involve using the knowledge you have developed on global/international communication to revise a difficult (bad news) letter for a non-US audience—a Japanese business audience. In order to be successful, you will research communication patterns for your intended reader using materials available on Canvas.
For this section of the final exam, you will revise Document E: Bad News Business Letter so that it better works for the Japanese business reader addressed in the letter. The letter is available on Canvas, and you may complete this section of your exam prior to taking the actual exam and submit it during the exam.
