Question 1 : (How to prevent a repeat of SolarWinds hack) explanation : Since now that we know the results of cyber insecurity from the Solarwinds hacks and Facebook and Google hacks it’s important to understand how to create an infrastructure to prevent future hacks to the networks of many applications as Irina Raicu stated “Given all of the things that are now internet-connected, from energy grids to pacemakers and from baby monitors and voice assistants to almost all of our means of communication and most of our means of travel (let alone the internet of battlefield things), cybersecurity is now one of the conditions required for the common good” Irina Raicu (2021)
Question 2 (Should the Punkspider web app be rereleased) explanation: Punk spider is a web app aimed at exposing vulnerability in the web and revealing the results to the public this approach is aimed at encouraging those web administrators to hastily fix those vulnerabilities as soon as possible. “PunkSpider collects a catalog of unpatched vulnerabilities and makes them public. Its developers hope that the tool will force website administrators to fix those vulnerabilities” Irina Raicu (2021)
Question 3: ( Should Ethical Hacking have a more broad teaching of ethics) explanation: As Irina Raicu stated “the coverage of ethics included in cyberoffense courses at various universities—at least as described in the article—is deeply underwhelming. In many engineering and computer science courses, ethics is barely mentioned the coverage of ethics included in cyberoffense courses at various universities—at least as described in the article—is deeply underwhelming. In many engineering and computer science courses, ethics is barely mentioned” Irina Raicu (2014) meaning that in the world of offensive cybersecurity there is little variance on learning ethics in IT and I think there should be more of push of this subject.
