ASSIGNMENT
Matters of ethical consideration and faith-based application can be aligned through many of the teachings of Jesus. The Gospels of Jesus have been used and consulted in many ways throughout recorded history. In this course, the consultation of Jesus’ teaching will be centered on how psychology professionals can treat others with dignity, compassion, and sensitivity through testing and assessment considerations.

After reading and reviewing the Christian Counseling Code of Ethics (PDF) from the American Association of Christian Counselors (opens in new window), consider the following scripture.
Matthew 22: 36-40 (NIV), “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?” Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”
