we explored the history of sexuality, the history of “same-sex unions,” and the history of trans identities in some of the world’s religions. Please choose one of these three topics and:
a) explore the topics relationship to the given religious tradition;
b) chose an artifact within that tradition–perhaps a piece of artwork or a pericope from a historical, religious text—that can be used to challenge the idea of the hetero normative interpretations of the given tradition.
