This assignment needs to refer to the AASW Code of Ethics and AASW Practice Standards.
In the assignment students are asked to provide an analysis on the following –
1. Review the concept of professional identity as expressed in social work literature
2. Discuss your emerging professional identity
3. Discuss 2 theories or practice approaches (other than GIM, strengths or empowerment) that will form your foundation for professional practice
4. Discuss how you will continue to develop your professional self after Field Experience 2 – name at least 2 strategies that you will utilise to ensure you continue to learn and grow as a professional social worker after graduation. Discuss also 2 strategies you will utilise for self-care
5. Provide a discussion on how you will uphold the AASW Code Ethics and discuss how you will demonstrate this as being proud of the social work profession
