In a short paper (5 pages), you pick one topic within exploring theories and strategies of 1)community justice, 2) restorative justice or, 3) community-based neighborhood justice practices. In conjunction with your viewpoint on the subject, discuss in the paper how to best approach the damage that has resulted from crimes occurring within communities; how can practicing community-based justice improve. Students are expected to analyze the theories in terms of efficacy as well as appropriateness for particular contexts and populations.
