Each of the following review papers provides a recent summary of a topic in evolutionary biology. Choose one paper and write a critical evaluation of it.
Your essay should include:
(1) a summary in your own words of the paper’s content and major points, and
(2) an evaluation of the authors’ reasoning and evidence, with the goal of identifying which of their statements are strongly evidence-supported and which are more weakly supported or speculative.
You should support your arguments by citing other papers that discuss alternative interpretations, other evidence, or questions that are still unresolved. Your essay may include comments or criticisms on any relevant aspect of the paper, but you must justify each of your statements. Include a Literature Cited section at the end of your assignment.
