Settling of the New World
Task: Using the following template, assess life in the New World colonies. For each assigned empire, you will address the following categories: Geography/Environment (location, conditions), Economics (how did they make money?), Political (how were they governed?), Social (how was their society organized?), Religion (what religion was their empire and did they attempt to convert the natives?), Relations with the Natives (describe their interactions with the Natives. Was their relationship positive or negative?).
Be detailed and thorough. You must include citations for the information. You must incorporate information from the YAWP text, as well as at least TWO primary document sources. Primary document sources can be found at the end of each chapter of the text. All references must be cited using Turabian style. If you are planning on pursuing history as a major, I would recommend investing in the style manual.
