In this report, we will discuss the FedEx Corporations operations and structures while also observing the governing body of the airline and the oversight by the FAA. In addition will dive into the certification processes for employees such as pilots, mechanics, and inspectors and what it takes to maintain certifications and work for FedEx. Afterwards, we will explore the vast fleet of aircraft the FedEx operates to include type, capabilities, and ownership or leasing responsibilities. In addition, this will discuss the past history of mishaps and will discuss causes and repercussions and what judgments were passed by governing bodies. We will also discuss unions that represent workers and explore any current or past disputes between the company and the union workers.
