Create a media piece that showcases the pros and cons of an issue discussed in this course or a controversial issue that needs addressing. (See LINK for ideas.)
Present various sides of the issue to show how media affects public opinion. Answer how God or the Bible might address the topic. (Should include scripture.)
Includethe following in your media pieces:
What is the controversy or issue?
How does it affect society (good or bad)?
Why should we care?
Provide a possible solution to the problem (if applicable).
You may use the following options to create your media pieces:
Radio or TV script (2-3 pages)
Slide presentation (6-8 slides)
Audio podcast (1-2 minutes)
Video public service announcement (1-2 minutes)
Web Blog (250-words)
Newspaper or magazine page (2-pages)
If your upload is to a website, please place the link into a Word document and upload it to the drop box. Please use the APA formatted template provided in the resources. Upload your finished assignment to the drop box below.
If it is a newspaper, please save it as a pdf. You will be graded on quality of your efforts. Please put creative and critical thought into your project. A good grade will given to those who demonstrate both.
