The aim of this order is to write an abstract (300 words) followed by a proposal (500 words) about the Virtual Archaeological Areas and Authenticity factor with respect to the Theory of Hyper-Tourism. How is authenticity leveraged when argued about the virtual preservation of archaeological heritage sites? Please indicate references to the Nara Document and Principles of Seville. Also, indicate a case study of a site that underwent virtual reality preservation and supports the argument that VR preservation is merely to meet tourist entertainment, whilst still re-imagining how the site once looked like. Perhaps, if choosing two case-studies, it could be a comparison where one site prefered not to use VR and the other did. I realized that some archaeological sites prefer not to include VR but have a drawing of what the site once looked like. It seems that there is also a shift in the tourist preference from the traditional presentation/drawing of the original into the hyped VR experience of how the site once looked like. Please include a bibliography in the end of the proposal. In the bibliography, identify 2-3 sentences explaining how each resource in the bibliography will be used in the research.
