You work with your group members to discuss/figure out how you could complete the required tasks and answer questions. BUT, everyone needs to submit your own files. Follow the instructions below to name and prepare your submission files

1. Refer to MBM tutorial textbook: Case 11 FAA Wildlife Hazard Research (pages 179-185)
2. Follow the instructions to prepare your own submission materials:
1) Access database file: i. Download Wildlife_data.accdb database file posted in Canvas
You also need to download the excel file: dictionary.xls. This file provides the description of data fields used in the database file. ii. Rename the database file as:
Project 3_access_Your name (e.g. Project 3_access_Tom Jones) iii. Complete Assignment 2_Task 5 (Page 182)
Given the questions listed on the bottom of Page 182, create the following four queries:
Query 1: Five states reported most incidents
Query 2: Five airport reported most incidents
Query 3: Five years reports most incidents
Query 4: Five months reported most incidents 2) Excel file (see Assignment 3; pages 183-185): i. See page 183; Import the “Master Strike Report” table into an Excel worksheet (Figure 11-9) ii. Name your excel file as:

Create pivot tables (e.g. figure 11-12) and charts (e.g. figure 11-11) for incidents (1) by year, (2) by month, and (3) by time of day 3) Report WORD file: i. Name your report file as:
Project 3_report_Your name (e.g. Project 3_report_Tom Jones) ii. In the report file, you need to include the following sections: A. Show four query results you obtain in Assignment 2 Task 5
Provide a screenshot of each query result B. Show Assignment 3 Task 7 results
Show the three charts created in Excel: (1) incidents by year, (2) incidents by month, and
(3) incidents by time of day C. Answer the following questions, show figures, and provide the reasons to explain what you discover:
(1) Are there different patterns for northern states and southern states? Are there differences for eastern and western states? (You should provide the criteria you use to classify states in different categories)
(2) In what part of the year do most incidents occur?
(3) At what time of day do most incidents occur?
(4) During what phase of flight do the most incidents occur?
(5) At what altitude do most incidents occur? Note:
To address the five questions above, you need to come up additional analyses in Excel, in addition to ones you are asked to do in Tasks 5 and 7 above. For each question, WRITE A PARAGRAPH TO EXPLAIN your answers clearly. In the report, you are required to SHOW FIGURES (charts) based on analyses you have done to support your answers.
