Search the Web for a lesson plan that uses cooperative learning (review chapter 9). You might find it useful if you select a plan that focuses on a grade level and content-area in which you would be interested in teaching.
Recall from the textbook that cooperative learning has five basic elements: positive interdependence, face-to-face promotive interaction, individual accountability and personal responsibility, interpersonal and small-group skills, and group processing.
Describe how your lesson plan addresses each element. If an element is missing or deficient in regard to one or more elements, make a suggestion for improvement.
