Geo-Political Analysis of a Country.
This part of research will look at the assigned country’s geopolitical environments that include
geography, political system, legal and regulatory environments. Characterize the physical features of
the country from climates, geographical topography, and other special features of the country to
illustrate the physical environment for doing business there.
An analysis of a country’s political systems, legal and regulatory conditions will give a foreign
company a clear picture to see if doing business in this country will be possible. This environmental
analysis should look at the current political system (including current governmental structure), the
political party system (including any major groups that influence a country’s political or social life),
the legal system (laws) or regulations that may discourage or encourage foreign companies to do
businesses in that country. Such analysis will give US companies a chance to see if any potential
political risks, economic risks, social risks and legal restriction impede US companies in this country
of study.
Understanding Cultural-Social Impacts in Global Marketing.
A good and deep analysis of social and cultural environment will give US companies a close look at
the society and its peoples for a better understanding. Social analysis typically looks at social
structural elements such as family, churches/temples, and local communities. Cultural analysis will
look at the elements such as language, religion, education system, people’s value system, and different
gender roles in the local society.
