Globalization today is in many respects different from the globalization in the first Golden age of globalization that began in the19th century when European imperialism provided much of its political structure and the Industrial Revolution the technology.
Why is it that in the recent past, global governance and globalization and the relation between the two, has become a much discussed subject?
