Students complete a tutor-supplied research proposal template outlining a chosen research question, aims and planned methodology with reference to ethical processes.
In addition to the above please ensure that you:-
Critically analyze a variety of ideas, contexts and frameworks associated with business research.
Demonstrate a detailed knowledge and understanding of the significance and limitations of research methodology and methods.
Present justified reason and explanation in support of propositions and argument throughout research relating to a business activity
Act with increasing autonomy, with reduced need for supervision with direction, within defined guidelines.
Reflect systematically on performance to further develop learning.

You need to think about what you want to research and come up with a question/title
You need to decide what approach you want to take – either positivist or interpretivist and justify why you are taking this approach
You need to decide what data collection methods you want to use i.e. observation, experiment, interview, questionnaire (and these must fit in with the point above
You need to discuss if there are any ethical issues involved in your research…. (and you need to fill out the ethics form & other paper work attached to the assignment)
