Find attached an Excel spreadsheet containing the plasma glucose concentrations for all participants within the study (at the Texas site) whose samples were analyzed for both the “screening” and “week 0” (pre-randomisation) oral glucose tolerance tests (OGTTs).
Calculate the total and incremental area-under-the-curve scores for glucose using these data, such that you can test whether there was a difference in total and/or incremental glycaemic response after two weeks of ingesting placebo (non-essential amino acids) capsules twice a day.
As a reminder, one dose consisted of 15 capsules, which contained 11 g of non-essential amino acids, and participants took two doses per day.
