Also, in this final step, the currency of negotiations generally involves positions on issues but the results are measured by how well the underlying interests are furthered.One approach to do this is to assign incremental tradeoffs of different positions for the issues.1Going beyond yes,involves crafting enduring contingent deals and innovative measures of negotiation’s subjective value. Drawing from the research that we have reviewed in Module 3 on deal crafting or measuring subjective value around objective criteria, develop one additional tool for your toolkit that is based on either of these conflict management and negotiation related approaches from Module 3.Again, this tool design should be based on course material that was assigned in the third module of this class.
