Description
Identifying how much of an effect home policies e.g. tariffs and quotas have on organisation’s supply chain management and whether or not this impacts their business decision to relocate parts of the operations elsewhere. Using theories such as reshoring, and also the OLI framework specifically internalisation theory to see how businesses make decisions. The literature review should give a critical analysis of the academic journals across these topics. I intended to use the following structure for the literature review:
1. Concept of home policy
2. Importance of supply chain configuration
3. Effectiveness policy has on corporate strategy
4. Reasons for reconfiguration
5. OLI framework
– Use vs Response i.e. goal of organisation and response in achieving that goal
6. Link to reshoring – internalisation
Include any additional material/topics you may find useful for the flow of the paper. I have included a list of journals I have found to may be of use also.
