1.Critically evaluate the aspects on UK tax regime for efficiency and effectiveness – on individuals, partnerships, corporations and society. (35%) LO (d)
Part A
Very good clear concise explanations, clear understanding of the principles and methods of industry based taxes. Good assessment of the problems and arguments, clear evaluation of the social, political and technical issues around making this a success, and barriers to it
2.Demonstrate reflective learning in developing solutions to achieve social outcomes (15%) LO (f)
Part A
Very clear explanation of the benefits of tax strategy and quantified benefits of strategies suggested, in all questions, assessment of the barriers to effective achievement of social outcomes, or avoidance strategies that could negate them
