The paper relates to some topics we’ve covered recently, and leads us into the topic of measuring gaps and disparities, how we interpret such measures, and some advantages and problems of different approaces or measuring these gaps. Labor and health outcomes are only two of many outcomes where we might want to concern ourselves with gaps between groups.
