Although many may differ, I believe that the organs of prisoners should not be donated to those on the organ waitlist. Those who have been incarnated for a prolonged amount of years have been proven to suffer from common health issues. For example, HIV, high blood pressure, or diabetics, as well as substance abuse and mental issues. Individuals who suffer from these illnesses can endure a lot of pain, due to their bodies deteriorating over time. Moreover, the health system within the prison is considered low-quality and tough to access. When tolerating a chronic sickness, it is important to have easy access to health assistance, in order to be actively well. If a large amount of these prisoners are constantly dealing with illnesses, how can they be eligible to donate their organs to people also dealing with illnesses?
