The topic should have an application/correlation to any of the Chemistry topics from the past and present. You should have at least 2 academic sources, of which should be from reputable journals (American Chemical Society affiliated). Number of slides needed? Okay, on the 1st slide, it is the introduction. On one bulletin, very briefly, how does Biology (academic major) relate to chemistry? In another bulletin, how does Dental Hygiene (academic major) relate to chemistry? On the 2nd slide, background information on the topic (i.e., Recycling Plastics) This is very important: this PowerPoint is not about the political issues about recycling plastics. As stated above, the topic should have an application/correlation to Chemistry. In other words, be informative but brief about the chemical processes, formulas, experiments, etc., about recycling plastics. This information should be coming from the journals you found. It’s okay if you wonder to other sources, so long as you cite it. Slides 3, 4 & 5 is the body. The same thing applies, be relevant about recycling plastics and it’s association to chemistry. Be creative with your slides. Include pictures, charts, diagrams or whatever you deem applicable. On the 6th slide, this should be the conclusion. Finish it strong.
