The passage you will be using will be Kafka’s Metamorphosis translated by David Wylie 1-3.
In your analysis of metamorphosis in context you will do the following: write a well organized, multi paragraph essay (750-1000 words) in which you analyze the relationship between some aspect of historical, social, or cultural context in which metamorphosis was written and the meaning of the work as a whole.
