Project Idea:
You are running for a senate seat in your choice of state. One of the issues your constituents are concerned about is Fracking. As a candidate you have to pick a side: are you in favor of fracking? or are you against fracking? As a candidate you will defend your position by creating an advertisement defending your position.
Your Research:
What is fracking? Describe the process. What is the purpose of fracking? Where is it happening in the United States?
What are some advantages and disadvantages when compared to other methods? What are some alternatives?
What chemical does it release?
What impact does it have on the environment? To humans, to the animals and to the plants.
How does it affect political campaigns?
How much money does fracking bring into certain campaigns?
Which demographic benefits the most from fracking? Which demographic is affected most by the results of fracking?
How does it affect the constituents in your state?
