Research Questions: for my paper I will be focusing on medication regimen C (3 mL of 1.5% Mepivacaine without fentanyl .
• Does the dosing medication regimen C affect time to discharge and time-to-first
narcotic pain medication administration when compared to
medication regimen A or B?
• How much time does it take a patient to be discharged who received medication regiment C as their spinal anesthetic for TKA, in comparison to the other two medication regimens?
• What is the difference in discharge times achieved amongst the three regimens?
• What is the difference in time to first narcotic pain medication administration amongst the three regimens?
